Soveran is a private house of tailoring. We work by introduction and by appointment, with a deliberately small clientele across Sydney, New York and Dubai. Every commission begins in conversation and ends in cloth.

Our cutters work in the English drape — soft shoulders, a clean chest, a long line. Each garment is patterned from scratch, basted, fitted three times, and finished entirely by hand. Nothing is made twice.

II The Cloth

Four fibres. One standard.

Mills in Biella, Huddersfield, Como and the Andean highlands. We carry roughly four hundred bolts at any one time and order the rest by the metre. Every commission begins by handling the cloth — never by image.

Super 130s and 150s for the working suit. Heavier worsteds and flannels for winter. Drapes deeply, recovers cleanly, wears for decades.

Silk
Reserved for evening and the lining of every Soveran jacket. A subdued lustre — never showy. Woven for us by a single mill on the lakes.

For Sydney summers and the Gulf. Heavy weight; rumples beautifully and refuses to be polite. The honest cloth of the warm months.

The rarest fibre we work in. Spun from animals shorn once every two years in the high Andes. Reserved for overcoats, by quiet request.

Consultation & Measurement.
A private appointment to discuss your vision, occasion, and cloth. Precise measurements are taken and your pattern is drafted to your form.

Fitting One.
The garment is presented for its first fitting. We assess the shape, refine the silhouette, and pin every adjustment with precision.

N° 03
Fitting Two & Handover.
Final refinements are confirmed and the garment is finished by hand. It is pressed, inspected, and handed over — yours, made for no one else.
